The place is 3.5km from town so you need a car to visit Gubbio. Also it is very vintage and cozy I loved it a lot. For digital nomads internet wifi exists in the reception, they give convertable adapters for the wires if needed and if you cannot plug in your phone.
What a lovely place. The rooms are a bit old but the service makes up for everything. The staff tries everything they can do to provide the best service. Absolutely stunning location for a wedding.

I am well-travelled, but this has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
Only 3.5 km from Gubbio, yet on top a hill immersed in nature, with a gorgeous view of the town.
It is a villa, with breathtaking architecture & artwork.
I noticed 28 food items in the buffet breakfast (that's counting all the different breads and yoghurts as one).
It is possible to dine there too.
The staff are ultra-professional, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Prices depend on how you book, but are around an incredible €80 for a double room, which is nothing given the quality of the hotel & service.

Very bad sound-proofing (you can hear everything in the other rooms even during the night)
Very cold/humid in the room (heater out of order ?)
Bad and tiny bathroom : so tiny and slow flow shower Windows very dirty :( I personally didn't like the breakfast (butter was kind of rancid), a lot of choice but tasteless and not good quality ..... I chose this hotel because of good comments and I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this hotel in spite of the great view and the great building.
